Before - under the island

The family decided that they wanted a darker tone on the drawers and cabinets under the island. We offered several suggestions, tried several paint colors and moved forward with the family color palate. We suggested to the family that they may want to buy new hardware to add to their "newly painted" cabinets.

Before - on the wall

Over the oven and refrigerator the family agreed to a little color. Using this two tone design allows for the kitchen to look larger to the eye.

Finished wall cabinents/drawers

The wall cabinets and drawers have been painted a lighter color to make the kitchen look larger and as a nice blend with the backsplash.

Finished island cabinets/drawers

With the two toner darker bottom it doesn't draw your eye as easily as before. These cabinets and drawers are a very good match to the granite corners. The vision of the family was meet and after seeing the finished project they decided not to buy new hardware. They felt that the old hardware was a great match with the new cabinets.
Cost is a significant decision maker for families on whether to buy new cabinets, reface their cabinets or to repaint their cabinets. The story above between refacing and our painting project they saved over $5,000 and we were able to the complete the project 6 weeks before the refaced cabinets would be delivered. The cost of all new cabinets was so high that it didn't even make its way into our conversation with the family.
